Speck Pumpen celebrates
100th anniversary

The three Speck companies invite 1,600 guests from all over the world to celebrate this special event.
The party in Nuremberg on 9th May represents the splendid highlight of this anniversary.

2006

Production site in China

In April 2006, the company officially opens a second Asian manufacturing site in Jiashan, a city in the Shanghai region. Initially 15 employees produced pumps on a production area of 1.500 m² for the growing Chinese and Asian market. In 2009, the number of employees had already risen to 40 in Jiashan.

2004

JobStar

The Nuremberg Metropolitan Region awards the JobStar to Speck Pumpen. The company received the prize as recognition for the creation of an above-average number of new jobs and apprenticeship opportunities.

2001

Sales office and repair service in France

Speck Pompes Industries is opened with the Hoerdt Cedex branch near Strasbourg and Isneauville in the Dépt. Seine-Maritime. In 2009, 20 employees are working for Speck Pumpen in France.

1998 - 2003

New company buildings and change of name

The existing buildings in the city area of Roth are getting too small and do no longer comply with the current requirements. In 1998, new machine and assembly halls are built in the industrial zone "An der Lände". By 2003, all departments including the adminitration have gradually moved to the new premises at the Main-Danube-Canal.
Since August 1998, the company has been operating under the name SPECK-PUMPEN Walter Speck GmbH & Co. KG.

Certification in acc. with DIN EN ISO 9001

In 1994, the quality management system in acc. with 
DIN EN ISO 9001 is implemented on all corporate levels.

Foundation of the Speck companies

In the post-war era, the family-owned company formed several independent business units called Speck, which produce and sell different pumps for a wide range of application areas:

1909

Company foundation

Together with his 5 sons, Daniel Speck established the family-owned company Speck Pumpen Daniel Speck & Söhne - Nuremberg. The development and production of pumps and aggregates has been the central priority of the company right from the start.
